FFR Cardiac Surgery Process
When there is a condition in the heart, i.e. stenosis that impairs the performance of the heart reducing the blood flow, the pressure of the flow is checked. This is done using an interventional procedure called Fractional Flow Reserve Test. It measures the actual flow pressure against standard flow norms and determines the degree of stenosis that causes lack of oxygen to the cardiac muscles.
